Cookie Exchange 2007

Our first annual Cookie Exchange was a blast and great success! Thanks to Cathy Cook for coordinating it. She did an awesome job. We had many different cookies and we each made 3 doz. We all took home about that many! After cookies and beverages we went upstairs to watch Thou Shalt Laugh - Duece. It was such a blessed and fun time. I can't wait to do it again in 2008.

Big Breakfast - Dec. 1st 10:00am

Join us this Saturday, Dec. 1st at 10:00am for the Women of Hope Big Breakfast. We will be meeting at Hope Reformed Church. Our guest speaker is Cari Wolters who will be sharing her powerful testimony of God's unfailing love even through her darkest times of rebellion toward Him. She is married to Pastor Steve Wolters of Hope Reformed and is a graduate of Kuyper College. Cari is a vibrant young woman with a gift of encouragement and a heart for counseling and mentoring others in God's word.

First Meeting

Praise God for a great first Women of Hope meeting on Saturday. We looked at the first lesson in the study called Where Do You Belong and it covered Ephesians 1:1-14 which tells us how we are chosen by God before time to be in His family and all the spiritual blessings that come along with that. Here's a picture of who the Bible says we are in Christ from Eph 1:3-8. Let me encourage you today to look at the scripture verses and then look at the picture illustration and remind yourself audibly, everyday of who you are in Christ. It's an amazing thing to know how much value we really have and that we belong to the King of Kings!
